The staff is extremely friendly and is willing to help you in whatever way they can. The hostel has brochures on different activities in the city, including a hamam, a turkish bath. Furthermore the hostels good heating, free DVDs, chess board, and great complimentary breakfast are the icing on the top of the cake...not to mention the great location close to the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. After spending 2 days boiling at the istanbul hostel I moved here to the Antique. This morning I woke up in a my room which was as cold as a refrigerator. Each room has its own very powerful and quiet a/c. Istanbul is hot and humid. It was only 32 degrees here which is quite cool for summer. The staff is what really sets this hostel apart. There all very friendly and VERY energetic. Adam you the man! (not me the hostel guy). Great service and a total of 4 computers for the internet means you can stay in touch without having to wait for computer hoggers to finish. Free water, tea and coffee.
